[REVIEW] Shakeout: Part II

February 12, 2018

Shakeout is a two-piece rock band from Yonkers, NY, that formed in 2016. With experimentation at the core of the band's songwriting, they take influence from a multitude of genres including punk, pop, and hip-hop. Their unique and dynamic live show creates the illusion of a band with more than just two A.J.'s in the lineup.

Shakeout recently released a new album , or shall I say , made a Part II album for their May 2017 release of Part 1. Part II consists of four just flat out great alternative, rock, whatever-you-wanna-call-them, songs. Shakeout is just a stupidly fun sounding band that has the energy of a full band-despite only being a musical duo. Shakeout's Part II  finds its sound somewhere between Pinkerton-era Weezer, and the Bloodhound Gang with songs like "Closed Doors".

Check out Shakeout's Part II  in the links below (OR IN OUR RELEASES SECTION), and be sure to check out their video for " Closed Doors" featuring Blass 89.
